JAZZ RE:FRESHED OUTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR 8TH SXSW SHOWCASE

The line-up features Chelsea Carmichael, Richard Spaven, NeOne the Wonderer, Kyra, Ebi Soda and Sultan Stevenson.
JAZZ RE:FRESHED OUTERNATIONAL, the international
showcasing partnership between Jazz re:freshed and British Underground, announce the
lineup for their UK Jazz Showcase at this year’s SXSW, taking place on March 13 at The Velveeta Room.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, pioneering grassroots jazz organisation Jazz re:freshed are partnering with British Underground for the 8th edition of the showcase at SXSW. Jazz re:freshed has been at the forefront of the UK jazz scene for the last 20 years, elevating, amplifying and spotlighting the breadth of talented young artists from across the musical spectrum to reach new audiences.
This year’s line-up is stacked! Between saxophonist, composer and arranger Chelsea Carmichael, drummer Richard Spaven with roots in the UK club and hip-hop scenes, eclectic jazz-grime fusion of NeONE the Wonderer and the soulful sounds of Kyra, it will be an unforgettable evening of music. The dynamic quintet, Ebi Soda and pianist Sultan Stevenson, one of the fastest-emerging young artists on the London jazz scene, round out this year’s stellar showcase.
